This Forest Turns Majestic in the Winter (4 Photos)

The woods in Czech Republic have hidden beauty in their depths. Jan Bainar, a nature photograph, was hiking through them one day when there was frost and found an extraordinary site. In the Beskydy Mountains, which border the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the trees all had a unique pattern of frost on just one side of their trunks. This was most likely formed by a combination of precipitation and wind that caused the ice to form directional patterns.
