A monkey showing true courage with his heart bursting with love to save his feathered friend from a house fire in Thailand. As Thairath reported, Michael the monkey was chained to a tree in Chonburi, he broke free from his shackles and ran into a burning house to rescue Samlee the goose.

Michael and Samlee had become best friends as pets of Somsak Puangchang. Sadly, they were both cruelly burned alive in the fire.

Somsak said he had chained Michael to a coconut tree while Samlee was inside the house before the fire. Michael and Samlee were found dead in the bathroom after firefighters put out the fire.
